Alvarezsaur Foot Claw - Trierarchuncus Theropod Claw
This is an extremely rare Alvarezsaur Theropod claw from the Hell Creek Formation. It is a toe claw that belonged to the genus Trierarchuncus which in Latin roughly translates to captain hook. Alvarezsaurs had only a single finger and claw on each hand which paleontologists believe was used to dig into termite mounds.
